Swan Energy, Inc.

From Swan Energy, Inc.
One of the United States companies producing oil and natural gas domestically, Swan Energy, Inc.has been providing American homes and industries with petroleum energy to thrive in today's world. The company has made a commitment to search and acquire petroleum-rich areas in the continental United States and develop them into practicable oil and natural gas drilling fields for domestic consumption.   As of 2008, the US Energy Information Administration (EIA) reports that in 2008, the country was the second largest consumer of petroleum at 22.6 bbl/year per capita, but was only third in production at  8,514 103 bbl/d, and imported an average of 12.220 103 bbl/day or 1,943 103m3/day to address the large demand for petroleum. 70% of the total consumption goes into transportation while 30% is divided by the industrial, commercial and residential, and electric power sectors. Nevertheless, Swan Energy, Inc recognizes the country's potential to be self-reliant in terms of petroleum supply.   This is why the company upholds a campaign to scour the continent, specifically in the Western and Central regions of the US, for oil and natural gas deposits. Based in Denver, Colorado itself, the firm has earmarked its resources to advance the process of oil and gas production, partnering with established drillers and joint venture entities to fund large scale exploration projects.
